Nos. 39-41 Alderney Street are three fine Georgian/ Early Victorian
residences in Westminster. These fine buildings always look their
finest when they are presented in the very best fashion. Alderney
Street was looking a little worse for wear as it had not been given a
coat of paint for a few years.
On this contract we were given the task of sprucing up the old girls
by carrying out external redecorations to both the front and rear
elevations. Whilst this work was being carried out it became clear that
some of the fine old original Georgian sash windows needed some
remedial repairs having been in service for more than two hundred
years. We then gave them some for tender love and care, carrying out
some minor repairs to the frames.
